I for one certainly plan to give it a go. If Nexon truly screws it up so be it there will be other games to try - but I'd say if you like co-op traditional RPGs then this is def worth a try. I'm playing japanese version for about a year. For me personally, what kept me were interesting stories it has and wacky events. One of the main standout features of the game is a weapon-based progression system characters have less impact on gameplay than their equipment. The way story told was a breath of fresh air too - after all the "master", "producer", "admiral", "oniichan", etc. The combat is also very simple- players control only one character, with four others being Co-Op (or AI if unavailable). It's not without that completely - there are some jobs with not a lot of clothes on, but it's moderate overall and the art is beautiful. SINoALICE is an incredibly unique dark fantasy role-playing game set in a fairytale-like world. Gameplay is decent, and the game (at least in Japan) is pretty generous, but if you are not interested in stories, I doubt it will hold your attention for long. It is developed and published by Pokelabo Inc. But the whole concept of the game is the work of the famous Japanese director Yoko Taro.

Also, I was wondering about localisation - if they will have english VO I feel the atmosphere will lose a lot, but keeping japanese VO's could be too expensive for them? I don't know.Ībout coop, like with a friend, there's not much, maybe Guild Wars, but rewards there are pretty meh, and they happen once at the set time of the day, which could be inconvinient.Īgain, for me the fun part are the stories and events plus jobs collecting, not getting characters stronger and stronger.
